Key responsibilities for the Area Sales Engineer include:

• Maintaining and developing relationships with the current client base
• Increasing sales and volume of end users of the product
• Actively deliver technical tool and workholding solutions to customers whilst on site
• Identify and develop your own leads with new or existing customers
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of capital machine tool equipment, to maximise sales opportunities
• Work alongside colleagues and management to coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events
• Document cost saving activity and daily use / updating of the CRM system

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Area / Field Sales Engineer, selling technical engineered products focussing on new business and account management.

Are you an experienced service engineer, looking to join a more organized machine tool service provider? Do you want to be paid door to door for all the hours you work? Do you need to earn over £55K a year OTE?

As a UK agent to several German brands, their CNC machine tools are globally recognized. They have a strong network of service engineers across the UK, along with 2 additional technical support staff who are office-based. They have a head office here in the UK for operations and storage.

Benefits include an excellent base salary £41 - £44K depending on experience, a salary review after successful probation, plus an OTE of £55-£60K with overtime weekday / weekends, company vehicle with choice of car or car allowance mobile phone & laptop, 33 days holiday, and a private pension

Responsibilities for the service engineer include -

• Breakdown repairs and maintenance of CNC Machines including multi axis Mills and Lathes
• Routine service and inspections, as well as fault finding
• Carrying out mechanical and minor electrical repairs to ballscrews, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors
• Machine levelling and alignments
• Installation and commissioning of machinery on site
• Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting
• Providing end user training and customer support both remotely and on site
• Travel from home to site covering regionally to your location on service and breakdown, but be prepared to travel nationally when installation & commissioning projects are required.

They have over 15 trained technicians across the UK, along with 2 technical support staff at the end of the phone for troubleshooting support.

Product training provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team

We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience

- Previous experience as a CNC service engineer, or service technician
- Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
- Experience working with either FANUC or Siemens controls
- Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
- Willingness to travel nationally, and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license

No call out is required with this role, weekend overtime has to be pre-authorized by both client and head office before being offered out to the team.

The business are prepared to be as flexible and supportive as possible, overnight stays and extensive travel is ideally kept to a minimum, but the business requires someone who is prepared to do both when necessary. A specialist manufacturer of plastic products supplying globally to a growing market is currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter Technician. This role will play a key part in taking responsibility for the safe and efficient running of the mouldshop facility.

As Injection Moulding Setter Technician your duties will include -

• Ensuring production runs smoothly by promptly resolving any machine or processing issues
• Carrying out tool changes and condition setting
• Identifying and implementing process improvements

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Technician, the ideal candidate -

• Will be an experienced Injection Moulding Setter or Technician
• Be experienced in condition setting of machines
• Be able to trouble shoot processing issues
• Have experience of optimising processes, resulting in scrap/waste reduction and faster cycle times

Based near Rochdale, this role is commutable from Bury, Burnley, Manchester, Oldham, Halifax, Huddersfield and Ashton.

Working Mon-Thursday, rotating weekly between days and nights
