Home Based covering the South to the Midlands. Do you enjoy building relationships with customers through strategic planning and value-based selling? As the successful Account Manager - Primary Materials, you will have previous experience of selling scientific instruments/equipment/systems (e.g. spectroscopy, microscopy, image analysis, x-ray analysis, particle characterisation,) in Advanced Materials and / or Industrial sectors. This is a home based role to drive sales in the UK South West territory, requiring travel to customer sites so a full UK driving license is essential.
Proactively developing 'business' by engaging and collaborating with customers.
Provide sales leadership and pre-sales activity to maximise the successful conversion of sales opportunities for the Primary Materials portfolio.
Ability to work independently, with initiative and good, ethical & business judgement
Substantiated capability to negotiate and close business.
Have a BSc or MSc or PhD Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related field of science.
The Account Manager will have the ability to analyse and articulate customer & market needs, develop relationships with customers, grow the opportunity pipeline through strong and proactive outbound prospecting. Able to target and nurture customer accounts from an early stage in the sales process to establish the company brand.
