A leading UK engineering and manufacturing company that supply high quality off-the-shelf products and bespoke solutions globally, is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team.

£48,000, Monday-Friday, 34 days holiday

This is a key role within the business, providing maintenance support to all production functions, supporting efforts to maximise output and reduce machine down time, ensuring safe working practice and adherence to maintenance schedules.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Taking a proactive approach & carrying out planned maintenance as well as resolving breakdowns on machinery
• Supporting the company's drive towards a greater level of automation within its production functions, using experience and knowledge to implement, install and maintain such systems.
• Playing a key role in continuous improvement within the Maintenance and Production functions - including the modification of existing or newly supplied equipment / fixtures / fittings / machinery and to support a general reduction in operational cost base, increase in output volume and quality and providing benefits to the overall working environment
• Ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and is easily accessible
• Taking responsibility for housekeeping within the department

We would love to hear from Maintenance Engineers with the following -

• A multi-skilled background of maintenance within a manufacturing / production environment
• Relevant HNC, ONC or City & Guild qualification
• Knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics
• An understanding of PLC systems & robots
• A valid UK driving licence

40 hour week, working Monday - Friday!
