An electrical service engineer is required for a real innovator within critical power protection. Based along the M4 corridor, you will benefit from a starting salary of up to £47,150 (Depending on Experience), an OTE of over £55K per year through overtime and bonuses. You'll be joining a well established organization that supports customers across all industries, to protect the most critical of infrastructures, POWER!

As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining, servicing, and commissioning of both power protection products
• Looking after a range of equipment including battery packed rotary UPS, Diesel UPS, static UPS, and a mixture of static and rotary frequency converters
• Covering a wide range of clients across all sectors of industry, so frequent travel along the M4 corridor, and occasionally nationwide is essential
• Ensuring all relevant documentation and service / commissioning activities are all recorded and completed in a timely manner
• Supporting an on call rota for out of hours emergencies, which is set at 1 in 7 - 10 weeks

This position requires a lot of flexibility towards working hours, employed on a 5 out of 7 day contract which would mean working every other weekend, with 2 days off during the week. Occasional overnight stays are also required, fully compensated for.

To be a successful Service Engineer you will have:

• Either a HNC, HND or ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• A strong knowledge of power electronics and safety regulations
• Practical experience and use of tools such as DVM's, clamps, meters, insulation testers and oscilloscopes
• Be able to work from electrical wiring diagrams
• A full British passport, drivers license, and the willingness to complete a CRB check if/when necessary due to the nature of some of the client sites

An applications engineer is required for a rapidly expanding CNC cutting tool OEM based in the UK.

We're looking for an engineer with a unique understanding of the manufacturing industry in the south west , with full scope to develop and get in front of clients in your region of focus.

This role is fully remote, working from home and site based with clients. Occasional head office visits may be required to collect tooling, brochures and equipment needed.

Responsibilities of the applications engineer

• Maintaining and developing relationships with the current client base
• Increasing sales and volume of end users of the products
• Actively deliver technical tooling solutions to customers whilst on site
• Identify and develop your own leads, as well as following up leads generated from the internal team
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of capital machine tool equipment, to maximise tooling sales opportunities
• Work alongside colleagues and management to coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events
• Document cost saving activity and daily use / updating of the CRM system

To be successful as an applications engineer, we're looking for the following skills / experience

- Previous experience as a CNC cutting tool sales engineer, applications engineer, or a multi skilled CNC Programmer
- Be able to confidently demonstrate tooling features, and identify solutions to the end user whilst on site
- Have a strong awareness of the manufacturing industry in the south west, as well as competitors and distributors
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Full UK driving license

Branch Manager

An Area Sales Manager is required for a hugely successful OEM of precision CNC machinery, providing metal-cutting solutions to the manufacturing industry

As the Area Sales Manager, your primary focus is the South West of the UK, to increase market share in these territories, whilst continuing to develop the reputation and company brand values.

Due to continued growth throughout 2022 and into 2023, a routine service engineer is required for a hugely successful OEM of CNC laser cutting machinery.

The business is one of the largest and most established companies in the UK that specialize in the supply, installation, commission, and repair CNC laser and press brake machines. They also have the biggest team of field service engineers across the UK & Ireland, providing a comprehensive and reliable service to all of their customers.

The team includes a diverse range of multi skilled breakdown engineers, hotline support staff on the phone, plus a team routine engineers across the UK, all in strategic areas of the country too to provide full and comprehensive support.

All work is planned at least a week in advance, so you have full heads up on what the following week looks like

We would love to hear from you've previously worked in any of the following roles -

- Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Apprentice Maintenance Fitter,
- Apprentice trained in mechanical, and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Good knowledge of fault finding, and mechanical repairs to production machinery
- Willingness to travel nationally, and to Ireland and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license

Standard working hours are 45 per week, no out of hours call outs are required, and no weekends unless pre-authorized in advance by the customer and management team.

The business are prepared to be as flexible and supportive as possible, overnight stays and extensive travel is ideally kept to a minimum, but the business requires someone who is prepared to do both when necessary. • Installation and commissioning of machinery on site
• Providing end user training and customer support both remotely and on site
• Travel from home to site covering a 2 hour radius of where you live, but must be prepared to travel nationally when installation & commissioning projects are required.

Product training provided in the first 6 - 12 months, to get fully up to scratch on all the makes and models they supply
