Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of bespoke capital equipment for multiple sectors is seeking an Installation / Commissioning Engineer to join their established team. You will help build in-house designed capital equipment and then install and commission them on customer sites across the UK.
The capital equipment generally includes mechanical assemblies, integrated PC/PLC control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems within a test cell environment. You will attend customer sites and utilise a team of remote software engineers based in one of the groups other facilities, to ensure products are installed and commissioned fully before departure.
This market specialist offers onsite training for you as an Installation / Commissioning Engineer along with an excellent salary and benefits package.

Prototypes are often built here so, an ability to work with their engineers from sketches and develop ideas into rapid prototype solutions will be a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate will have experience working on or within projects delivered to customers, ideally in the automotive industry, though this is not essential. You will have a strong engineering background, be Prince 2 qualified (or similar), able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
