We are currently recruiting for a stores person for a large manufacturing company thriving in the fire and safety sector.

Your duties will include:

• Order picking of items from the stores, and transferring the parts to the mechanical build area for the fitters
• Replenishing the stores with parts
• Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers
• Using the stock system to print off order notes and to do basic stock tallies or check for discrepancies etc
• Assisting with dispatch area when required (only occasionally)

A valid FLT Counterbalance.

• Rate of pay is £11.79 p/h

Hours of work are 37.5hrs per week 7am - 4:15pm Mon to Thurs, and 7am - 12pm on Fri.

Overtime is time & 1/3 weekday (after 37,5 standard) time & Saturday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced maintenance technician for a renowned manufacturing company who specialise in the prepping and finishing of components for the automotive sector.

The working hours for this role are:

• 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday
• Includes every other Saturday working (4 hours @ x1.5)

Please note these hours could be changed to suit the right candidate for example, 7am until 4pm.

Your day to day duties will include but not be limited to:

• Full responsibility for all the regular scheduled PPM for all the plant and equipment focused on minimising downtime and maximising efficient operations
• Reacting quickly and proactively to breakdown situations including out of hours if required (premium rate then applies)
• Testing, cleaning and replenishing processing tanks, salt spray testing, paint thickness checks
• General site maintenance and upkeep of factory buildings
• Organising external contractor visits and supervision on site
• Stock-checking & ensuring re-order and sometimes collection of consumables

The ideal person will posses the below skills:

• Background in a manufacturing production environment or engineering with good fault-finding skills and mechanical bias
• PPM & reactive experience
• Ideally proficient in all tasks of replacing sensors, motors, pumps & inverters, stripping pumps, gearboxes, replacing drives and bearings
• Experience in basics of site maintenance i.e., simple plumbing, painting, mending and fixing
• Able to respond quickly to out-of-hours break-downs.
• Car owner with full driving license - Essential
• Counterbalance FLT license desirable -Essential

This is a temp to perm role with 33 days holiday once given a full time contract (inc statutory holidays), pension scheme, free parking, work wear and full training will be provided on all site-specific areas of the role!

An Assembly Operative is required to join a Steel Processing / manufacturing company based in Cradley Heath. You will be responsible for assembling full balcony units and associated components, using various hand tools.

The skills and experience required for this role include;

The ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing business and be willing to work rotational day shift. Full training will be given but you should have at least 1 year experience in production or manufacturing.

Production Operatives/Quality.

• Operating various production machines
• Ensure machines run smoothly and products meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot any problems and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
• Flag any issues you can't fix to the maintenance team
• Quality inspection

2 Rotating shift (one week of each)

• 06:00 until 14:00 - £11ph
• 14:00 until 22:00 - £12.51ph
