A Receptionist is required to join a manufacturing company in the Bidford area on an ongoing temporary basis.

Duties of this Receptionist role include;

• Meeting and greeting all on-site visitors
• Monitoring and ordering stationery supplies
• Answering incoming calls, screening and transferring through to various departments
• Opening and distributing post
• General administration tasks for other departments

Ideally for this role you will have;

• Experience working in a busy reception role
• Confident telephone manner and face-to-face customer service experience
• Excellent communicator
• Good organisation skills

Working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm based in the Bidford area, paying £12p/h. Due to a lack of public transport near the area it would be preferable to have your own transport. This is an ongoing temporary role, ideal if you are out of work and can start a new role without a notice period.

We are currently recruiting production operatives for a renowned first tier manufacturer of automotive parts sold globally near the RICO ARENA IN COVENTRY.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing business and be willing to work rotational day shift and/or nights. You should have at least 1 year experience in production or manufacturing.

Your main duties will include:

• Operating various production machines
• Ensure machines run smoothly and products meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot any problems and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
• Flag any issues you can't fix to the maintenance team
• Quality inspect parts

2 Rotating shift (one week of each)

• 06:00 until 14:00 - £11ph
• 14:00 until 22:00 - £12.51ph

Please be aware if offered a contract, you may be required to work 3 shifts (AM, PM & NIGHTS)

• Anything over 40 hrs in the week paid @ x1.5
• Saturdays paid @ x1.5
• Sundays paid @ x2.0

An Overhead Crane Operator is required for an internationally trading steel company based in the Halesowen area.

If you have experience within the steel industry this position could be ideal for you. You will be responsible for the banding up of steel, operating overhead cranes to handle steel and driving counterbalance forklift trucks, amongst other duties.

Duties include;

• Working on the back end of processing lines, e.g. Slitters
• Banding up of processed steel
• Operating overhead cranes and counterbalance forklift trucks (once trained)
• Using manual and air banders
• Visual quality checks of packs
• Labelling up stock ready for dispatch

The position is working day shifts initially.

Days: 6:00am - 4.30pm (with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays)

The rate of pay is starting at £10.81 per hour on days.

Once you have passed a 12 week probationary period you will be paid a daily attendance bonus of £10.94 per day. This effectively bumps your rate up by over £1 per hour (£11.81 ).

At some point in the future they may be bringing back in a night shift so you must have flexibility to work rotating days and nights if required (Nights pay £12.72 the daily attendance bonus).

Temp ongoing position, long term prospects for the right person though you may be on the agency books for a long time.

We are currently recruiting for a trainee machine setter/operator for a renown manufacturing company in the heart of Redditch.

The working hours:

• 8am until 4:30pm (8am until 1pm on Friday) - (30 mins unpaid lunch)

The pay rate:

• £11.50 per hour
• Occasionally overtime may be required paid x1.5 per hour

As a trainee machine setter operator you will work in cooperation with the Plant Manager to ensure the Production Lines operate safely to the highest efficiency. Training will be given to enable you to fulfil the following main tasks:

• Running induction heating machines and coil heaters to coat fasteners.
• Working on a line placing fasteners on fixtures & Jigs.
• Setting up and closing down of machines - Ensuring the safe isolation of all machines including compressors on a daily basis including on break times.
• Quality inspection of parts.

As well as the above duties, you will also be expected to fulfil basic tasks such as:

• Goods inwards duties.
• Packing and dispatch duties.
• Induct new staff as and when.
• Reporting all issues to senior team member.
• Logging orders on the in house system.
• Act professionally at all times when representing the company either internally or externally.

This is a temp to perm role meaning the company can act to take you on a permanent contract after 12 weeks!

We are currently recruiting for experienced powder coaters on a 2 shift rotation for a busy manufacturing company in Redditch that specialise in bespoke signage for a number of global companies.

The working hours for this role are (rotating):

• 1 week of AM - 6am until 2pm
• 1 week of PM - 2pm until 10pm (Fridays PM hours 10am until 6pm - nice long weekend!)

Pay Rate:

• £13 per hour across both shifts!

As a powder coater, you will know how to do the following tasks:

• Apply paint and other industrial coatings to products
• Inspect the products or surface that will be painted
• Clean and prepare it, remove rough spots and sand or treat the surface,
• Apply an undercoat to the surface, and mix and prepare the paint for application.
• Use computerised paint mixing technology to do this.

This is a temp to perm role meaning the company will look to take you on after 13 weeks!
