Pay rate:

£12 per hour

The working hours for this role are either:

• 6am until 2pm / 2pm until 10pm Monday - Friday (rotating weekly)

or

• 8am until 4.430pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs per week)

Your main duties will include:

• Preparation for paint work
• Wet spraying all areas
• Mixing of paint, sanding, cleaning, and etching of all work in preparation for spraying with a two-pack paint

Some powder coating experience is desired.

This is a temp to perm role where the company want to take the right people on a permanent contract after 12 weeks!

We are currently recruiting for production operatives for a prestigious automotive manufacturer in the Moons Moat area of Redditch.

40 hours per week across 2 shifts (rotating) -

• Week 1 - AM (6am until 2pm)
• Week 2 - PM (2pm until 10pm)

Pay rate is £11.64 ph with OT

Your duties will include but will not limited to:

• Work as part of a team to build production parts / assemblies.
• Operate Production Line Equipment.
• Ensure all equipment faults are reported to Operations Team Leader or Manufacturing Team Leader.
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Ensure work instructions are followed at all times to ensure 100% quality products.
• Liaise with stores and quality team to maintain good quality parts supply to manufacturing area.
• Ensuring work areas and machinery are cleaned and maintained.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Be able to work both independently and within a Team.

• Mechanical sub assembly of components which are then fitted onto the pumps
• Pressure testing of the pumps
• Collecting of parts from stores and transferring to the fitting benches

This is not quite a skilled fitter, but we are looking for someone with a bit about them.

Rate of pay is £11.79ph / 37.5hr working week.

Hours are

2 Rotating shift (one week of each)

• 06:00 until 14:00 - £11ph
• 14:00 until 22:00 - £12.51ph

A week working 7am - 5pm may be needed for training and then move to shifts.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing business and be willing to work rotational day shift and/or nights. You should have at least 1 year experience in production or manufacturing.
