A leading manufacturer of technical complex safety critical applications, is looking to recruit an experienced Product Line Manager to join their team. This specialist in RF Microwave technologies is providing much needed products into the MOD, so they're continuing to trade and grow during this difficult time.
The Product Line Manager will manage the Product Life Cycle of products from initial conception to end of life, to maximise profitability and to provide leadership in the development of new products. Responsible for all RF Microwave products, not only will you develop new ones, but you'll also recommend products for deletion. With an extensive understanding of market trends built from strong client relationships and general market analysis, you will help maintain this businesses stance as "market leader" within their industry.
Some of your responsibilities are listed below:
Define long-range strategies for market, product and technology, taking ownership of roadmaps and drivers into the technology roadmap partnership.
Lead the company 3yr strategy plan by creating business plans and documentation including launch plans for future products.
Look for continuous reductions in product costs
Reporting to the Unit Managing Director, you will work closely with other PLM's within the UK and overseas as well as other internal and external stake holders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in RF Microwave technologies, be it Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMA), Multi-functional Assemblies (MFA) or Sub-Assemblies. Experience in Project Management activities including generation planning and pricing analysis is essential.
