A leading global business offering mass-volume manufacturing solutions to markets such as healthcare and food & beverage is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team, working on a continental shift pattern.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will predominantly be working reactively on breakdowns in a plastics manufacturing facility, ensuring production continues to run efficiently with minimum disruption.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown situations on a variety of production machinery to include extruders and site services, and routine safety inspections.
• Ensuring all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
• Engaging with the operations team to provide proactive support to the plant and equipment, maximising production output.
• Tenacity in approach to incident management and actively pursue investigations to identify root causes.
• Using initiative and confidently make sound decisions quickly based on knowledge, experience and best practice.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

• Have a time-served apprenticeship (or equivalent) and a recognised qualification in a related discipline (minimum qualification of NVQ level 3).
• Have held the same job title or similar such as Maintenance Technician or Electrical Engineer.
• Have experience of working in an engineering manufacturing environment on machines that convert a raw material into a product that incorporate electrical, mechanical, hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Will be results orientated, with ability to deliver results in a rapidly changing environment and with excellent attention to detail.

On offer -

• A salary of £35 - 39K depending on experience.
• Working a Continental 3 on 3 off shift pattern.

Based in Northamptonshire, this role is commutable from Peterborough, Kettering, Towcester, Bedford and Huntingdon

A global market-leader in supplying innovative ways to engineering, have an exciting opportunity within their Milton Keynes office. They are currently looking to welcome an Electrical Design Engineer, on a rolling 3-month contract basis. This position is outside of IR35 and is on a hybrid working pattern.

I am keen to speak to candidates that have any of the following experience:

• Commercial awareness.
• Project design life cycle experience (Initial concept, detailed design, etc..).
• Have relevant experience working with Pharmaceutical / Medical related projects.
• Confidence in undertaking site surveys and producing relevant documentation.
• Comfortable with working with both, 2D and 3D design deliverables.

Some of the duties as an Electrical Design Engineer will be:

• Produce Reports, Scope of Works, Concept & Detailed Drawings.
• Creating E&I designs including Cable Block, Single Line, Earthing Diagrams.
• Producing documentation that's compliant with specifications / requirements.
• Liaising with client representatives whilst also, working both independently and collaboratively.
• Full UK Driving License is essential - Ability to travel to Milton Keynes, Cambridge and Oxford.
