The business itself is a hugely successful UK agent to a number of CNC machine tools, providing full installation, commissioning, and repair of Machines. They have a strong network of engineers across the UK, along technical support, planner scheduler and a parts manager who are office based. They have a head office here in the UK for equipment storage, modification and adaptations, and distribution.
Responsibilities for the CNC Service Engineer role include -
Product training provided in the first 6 - 12 months, to get fully up to scratch on all the makes and models they supply
We would love to hear from you possess the following skills and/or experience -
- CNC Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance of CNC, Field Service Technician, CNC Engineer
- Strong knowledge of FANUC controls
- Good knowledge of fault finding, electrical and mechanical repairs
- Clean driving license

Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
They have over 30 trained technicians across the UK, along with office based technical support staff at the end of the phone for troubleshooting support.
Product training provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team
We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience
- Previous experience as a CNC service engineer, or service technician
- Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
- Experience working with either FANUC or Siemens controls
- Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
- Willingness to travel nationally, and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license
No call out is required with this role, weekend overtime has to be pre-authorized by both client and head office before being offered out to the team.

It's a global brand with a presence in every continent, as well as a UK HQ for customers to see machine tools for demonstrations. They have a close knit team of service engineers who all in strategic areas of the UK to provide maximum coverage.
On offer is a generous package including a basic of up to £35K, travel time door to door, a 10% guaranteed bonus every year, overtime at x1.33 during the week, x1.5 for Saturday, x2 for Sunday, brand new company van fully expensed, overnight stay allowances and meals during the day, 25 days holiday plus bank hols, a healthy pension scheme and much more.
Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
All PPM work is planned at least 2 months in advance, so the engineer will have an exact plan of where they are required to be the following week.
We would love to hear from you've previously worked in any of the following roles -
- Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Field Technician, CNC Engineer
- Mechanically bias, ideally holding an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge of fault finding, inspection and general machine tool maintenance
- Willingness to travel nationally, and to Ireland and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license
Standard working hours are 40 per week, general expectancy to arrive on site by 8:30am.

As the sole UK agent to a European brand, their CNC machine tools are globally recognized. They have a strong network of service engineers, along with 2 additional technical support staff who are office-based. They have a head office here in the UK for operations and storage.
This role will involve a lot of product training and investment from the company to bring you up to date with their full machine tool range. Once fully trained, this role would require someone flexible enough to work in the UK, Europe and sometimes worldwide depending on projects that are happening.
Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
Product training in Germany will be provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team
