A Finance Assistant is required to join a manufacturing company based in Hyde. Joining a busy finance team, you will be responsible for a range of duties reporting into the Company Accountant.

Duties of this Finance Assistant role include;

• Collating documentation to support journal transactions for P & L accounts.
• Monthly journal entry and Balance Sheet reconciliation to include inter-company journals.
• Cashbook and Bank Reconciliation to include foreign currencies.
• Petty Cash control.
• Maintenance of purchase ledger - posting invoices through to supplier statement reconciliation.
• Arranging payments including supplier currency payments, BACS payments and Statutory payments.
• Completing information for Board reports.
• Issuing foreign currency for overseas travel for the business.
• Completing returns for the National Statistic Office.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

Ideal experience will include:

• Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Accurate, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a role as Finance Assistant or similar, be able to meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork ethic.

A full-time office-based role, working hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Offices based in the Hyde area, offering free parking on-site. This will be a fully office-based role.

Are you an experienced service engineer, looking to join a more organized OEM of CNC machinery? Do you want to be paid door to door for all the hours you work? Do you need to earn over £55K a year OTE?

Responsibilities for the service engineer include -

• Breakdown repairs and maintenance of CNC Machines including multi axis Mills and Lathes
• Routine service and inspections, as well as fault finding
• Carrying out mechanical and minor electrical repairs to ballscrews, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors
• Machine levelling and alignments
• Installation and commissioning of machinery on site
• Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting
• Providing end user training and customer support both remotely and on site
• Travel from home to site covering regionally to your location on service and breakdown, but be prepared to travel nationally when installation & commissioning projects are required.

They have over 30 trained technicians across the UK, along with office based technical support staff at the end of the phone for troubleshooting support.

Product training provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team

We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience

- Previous experience as a CNC service engineer, or service technician
- Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
- Experience working with either FANUC or Siemens controls
- Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
- Willingness to travel nationally, and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license

No call out is required with this role, weekend overtime has to be pre-authorized by both client and head office before being offered out to the team.

A high-volume manufacturer of plastic consumables is seeking Injection Moulding Setter Technicians to join their busy team. Working in a state-of-the-art factory, with future investment planned on automation projects, you will be responsible as a team for ensuring the smooth running of the shift ensuring world-class OEE.

As Injection Moulding Setter Technician your duties will include -

• Installing moulds in to the injection moulding machine as well as setting up all related ancillary equipment and materials.
• Start up, making necessary process adjustments, and troubleshoot production runs while ensuring that the moulding machine are running within specified parameters.
• Performing quality checks on parts that are being produced and documenting the findings.

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Technician, the ideal candidate will -

• Have significant experience in working as a plastic injection Moulding Setter, Toolsetter, Process Technician or similar
• Be able to confidently carry out tool changes and condition set moulding machines
• Have experience of process optimising, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum and keeping cycle times within spec
• Be able to troubleshoot and promptly resolve any processing issues
