As a Senior Supervisor you will be required to;

• Manage a team of up to 3 supervisors and approx. 25 operators
• Monitor performance against targets and ensure all KPI's are met
• Identify opportunities to improve and develop processes
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
• Carry out inductions and safety training on a regular basis
• Address any issues or grievances, working with other management to resolve any concerns
• Manage staffing levels, timekeeping and absences
• Implement and introduce Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities
• Assisting out-of-hours on a rota basis as an emergency contact
• Completing day-to-day duties alongside operators including use of forklift truck to move products and manual sorting of recycling products.

Ideally, you should have experience of;

• Waste management or manufacturing industry experience
• A minimum of 3-5 years working in a similar role
• Proactive leadership style and be driven by results
• Counterbalance forklift truck licence (essential)
• An in-date passport for infrequent overseas travel

• A salary of £30-37k p/a plus bonus

Reporting to Head of Sales, the Business Development manager will be responsible for -

• Maintaining and increasing business levels of product sales.
• Hitting all targets and KPI's set.
• Gathering customer information to figure out customer needs.
• Increasing business opportunities.
• Developing strategies, forecasts, and pipelines of business.
• Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
• Negotiating new contracts with suppliers or customers on behalf of the company
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, economic policies and changing market
• Improving the quality of customer service and customer satisfaction

Experience within the Steel, Metal and / or Tubing industry is essential with engineering / manufacturing and sales experience would be a huge advantage.

Combining sales and customer service you will be the ultimate partner for your customers and to ensure that you and the business are in the forefront of their mind.

An experienced Overhead Crane Operator / Forklift Truck Driver is required to join a well-established steel processing company in the Walsall area.

You will be responsible for transporting steel beams, bars and tubes around the yard, loading and unloading vehicles, banding up bundles of steel and more.

Your regular duties would include, but would not be limited to;

• Banding / packing / labelling of processed steel
• Driving a counterbalance forklift truck and operating an overhead crane
• Moving steel stock around the facility & loading /unloading vehicles
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are met and adhered to

To be considered for this role you must be experienced with both OHCs and FLTs. Please be aware that a decent amount of your time will be spent working outside in the yard.

Working hours would be mornings and days rotating - 6am - 2pm / 9am - 5pm.

The role is paying £11.50 per hour.
