A leading supplier with a global presence who specialise in the design and manufacture of parts for the automotive industry are seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer (Team Leader) to join their team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will provide a comprehensive maintenance service throughout the factory, working on a variety of machine applications within established high volume manufacturing processes, whilst supporting and managing the teams performance

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Leading technical resolutions to production issues and escalating major concerns
• Liaising with production management to provide technical support based on production priorities
• Managing the performance of your team, leading using visual management
• Supporting your teams' requirements (PPS, spares ordering, supplier interaction)
• Managing clear communication with other senior engineers
• Managing closure of outstanding work orders and PM activities
• The installation and maintenance of all plant and machinery/equipment, ensuring all safety requirements are met and adhered to.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Diagnosing and analytically solving machine related problems.
• Using 4 styles of management as appropriate, generating Kaizen ideas and practising 6S tools daily

To be successful in the role of Senior Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

• Have served a recognised apprenticeship in maintenance or equivalent
• Be HNC qualified, or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Have injection moulding experience
• Have Supervisory / Management experience including PDCA cycle

• Continental shift pattern (2 x dayshift 06:00 till 18:00, 2 x nightshift 18:00 till 06:00, 4 days off)

Based in Worcestershire, the Senior Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Stourbridge, Worcester, Pershore, Alcester and all surrounding areas.

A class-leading manufacturing business that is nationally renowned as the leader within their industry, is now seeking a Health and Safety Manager to take a lead on the Health and Safety function across the whole business.

As the H&S manager, you will be responsible for all areas within this organisation. They employ 200 people across 3 sites (all within 15 miles) which you will also be responsible for.

Some of your main responsibilities are listed below:

• Active management of all Health & Safety throughout the business
• Ensure legal and contractual compliance of all H&S requirements in all areas of the business
• Ensure compliance to ISO 14001 including auditing
• Create new and improve existing H&S policies and procedures
• Review, develop and improve the Safety Management System
• Assist managers when carrying out risk assessments
• Complete and submit RIDDOR reports
• Review and update Fire Risk Assessments
• Carry out site inspections and audits
• Preparation and maintenance of the COSHH register
• Establish and promote a Health and Safety team, delivering appropriate training and best practice
   

The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health & safety and have experience of managing an H&S function within a similar sized manufacturing business. Experience of Fire Risk Assessments is advantageous. A full UK driving license and access to your own car is essential.
