A CMM / Quality Engineer position has become available, within a business that has supplied revolutionary technology to various industries for over 40 years. As they work through a huge period of growth, this award winning company is looking to expand its various teams, including additional staff within the Quality team.
CMM / Quality Engineer duties include -
Use conventional and CMM measuring equipment to inspect high precision components.
Implement the relevant Quality Tools for the analysis of defects in both materials and products, recommending corrective measures to maintain quality standards on site.
Maintain and continually strive to improve the quality of the products.
Plan and manage internal audits of manufacturing processes and working practices, to ensure compliance and the resolution of any non-conformances.
Help to drive quality programs of product and process improvement, by implementing lean tools and techniques.
Desirable skills/experience/attributes -
Experience in a similar position (production environment).
Computer literate / able to read technical drawings.
Conversant with problem solving and lean tools.
Relevant manufacturing/engineering education.
